Australia has a long history of construction innovation and product development, particularly in the timber industry.

Australian Institutions and businesses have played a pivotal role in improving our industry. The chart below shows that most Australian companies have either a policy or a preference to buying Australian made goods.

But what level of importance does the consumer place on where our timber and LVL is sourced?

With regards to laminated veneer lumber as a construction material, Wesbeam is currently the only manufacturer in Australia. All the timber used in Wesbeam’s LVL manufacturing process is sustainable wood sourced in Western Australia.

Wesbeam is an Australian owned and operated LVL timber business employing staff across Australia. So when you’re deciding on the products to use in your next project, consider Wesbeam LVL as part of the suite of sustainable timber products and support Australian production and innovation.
