Wesbeam CEO, James Malone recently visited one of Australia's most innovative construction companies, Impresa House.

During his visit he discussed the exciting future of prefabricated timber construction with Impresa's CEO, Mr Sean Morley. Both James and Sean agreed that 2019 is shaping up to be a very exciting year that will see a number of pioneering residential and commercial projects come to fruition, from two to 10 storeys in height that both Impresa House and Wesbeam have been working on throughout 2018.

He was given a tour of their offsite manufacturing facility where they utilise the latest European closed wall framing technology to prefabricate closed wall frame, cassette floors and truss roof elements.

James was very impressed with the leading role that Impresa House has adopted and commented on a range of innovative solutions on display, highlighting the many advantages that timber can bring to modern methods of construction.

James was joined at Impresa by Dr David Bylund, Wesbeam's Tall Timber Building System's Team Lead and Mr Adam Coombes-Pearce, Wesbeam's Victorian State Account Manager.

His visit coincided with Impresa House's adoption of Wesbeam LVL in their mix of timber products to further refine their systems to suit Australian conditions.

Wesbeam is proud to support innovative companies such as Impresa House, and is pleased to be associated with the leading edge of modern construction.
