The raw timber is harvested from sustainable forests primarily managed by the Forest Products Commission and run to strict Commonwealth, State and Local government regulations and guidelines.
Three types of trees are used to make LVL; maritime pine, radiata pine and karri. Wesbeam has full control over the supply chain and Chain of Custody certification which gives its customers the peace of mind that they can rely on the quality of products and the origin of the timber used in the manufacturing process. Having such a reliable source of sustainable timber close at hand means the Wesbeam factory is never idle.

Production timetables can be rescheduled to meet heavy demand for a particular product line and distribution centres across Australia means local LVL timber stock is always available wherever and whenever its needed.
