In the world of engineered wood products, certification isn’t just a box to tick - it’s a visible commitment to quality, compliance, sustainability and trust. As a proudly Australian manufacturer of LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber), a suite of highly recognised certification logos reinforces this commitment across every product and process at Wesbeam.

EWPAA

Wesbeam’s LVL products are independently third-party audited and certified by the Engineered Wood Products Association of Australasia (EWPAA) to meet AS/NZS 4357 – the standard for structural laminated veneer lumber in Australia and New Zealand.

The EWPAA is accredited by JAS-ANZ, Australasia’s peak certifying authority, to certify LVL, I-Joist, plywood and veneer products. This dual certification ensures Wesbeam’s products meet the requirements of the National Construction Code (NCC) and government purchasing standards.

Using the EWPAA logo shows that Wesbeam’s engineered wood products meet rigorous quality, safety, performance, and compliance standards certified by an independent authority. It signals product reliability, enhances customer confidence and demonstrates Wesbeam’s commitment to best practice manufacturing and consistent product quality within Australasia.

JAS-ANZ

JAS-ANZ is the official body that accredits organisations like EWPAA to certify products and systems to internationally recognised standards, such as ISO 17065 (Product Certification) and ISO 17021 (Management Systems).

Products certified under JAS-ANZ-accredited bodies meet the quality, safety, and compliance benchmarks expected by Australian regulations, including the National Construction Code (NCC).

For Wesbeam, the JAS-ANZ logo helps communicate integrity, transparency, and accountability - showing the market that our products and processes are continually audited and improved. It reinforces Wesbeam’s reputation for reliability and its alignment with both Australian and global best practice.

Australian Made

The Australian Made logo is Australia’s most trusted and recognised country-of-origin symbol. It’s a registered certification trademark only available to products that are licensed through the Australian Made Campaign and meet the criteria set under Australian Consumer Law and the AMAG Code of Practice.

At Wesbeam, proudly displaying the Australian Made license is about more than simply highlighting where our products originate. It's about confidently backing the Australian construction industry with engineered timber you can trust - supporting local jobs, nurturing local expertise, and contributing to a sustainable future.

PEFC

Wesbeam LVL products are manufactured from sustainably sourced timbers which are in line with PEFC’s international standards, which balance environmental, social, and economic responsibilities.

Displaying the PEFC logo shows Wesbeam’s commitment to sustainable forestry, transparency in supply chains, and responsible environmental stewardship.

Wesbeam also holds Chain of Custody (CoC) certification under PEFC, ensuring that timber can be traced from the forest through every stage of the supply chain to the final product. This traceability promotes transparency and accountability, helping customers make environmentally responsible choices with confidence.

CodeMark

CodeMark is a voluntary building product certification scheme administered by the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB). It provides confidence and certainty to regulatory authorities and the construction industry that a product complies with the National Construction Code (NCC).

Wesbeam’s proprietary e2S termite treatment, applied in the glueline of our LVL products, is CodeMark certified, demonstrating verified compliance with the NCC’s durability and performance requirements.

Displaying the CodeMark logo assures builders, certifiers and regulators that Wesbeam’s treated LVL meets rigorous, independently assessed standards. It reflects our commitment to innovation, product integrity, and providing reliable, compliant building solutions for the Australian market.

Responsible Wood

Wesbeam is certified by Responsible Wood, Australia’s governing body for sustainable forestry and the national member of the PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification). This certification ensures compliance with the Australian Standard for Sustainable Forest Management (AS 4708) and the Chain of Custody Standard (AS 4707). These standards support the responsible sourcing and tracking of timber from Australian forests, protecting biodiversity, supporting local communities and promoting ethical land management.

Our association with the Responsible Wood logo highlights Wesbeam’s commitment to Australian-grown, responsibly managed timber and transparent supply chains. It builds trust with customers, reinforces Wesbeam’s sustainability leadership, and ensures alignment with both national and international best practices in forestry.

From third-party auditing to sustainable sourcing, each logo seen on Wesbeam’s materials tells a story of rigorous standards, ethical sourcing and verified practices. Together, they reflect Wesbeam’s strong position as an ethical and dependable Australian manufacturer.
